  3. VANCOUVER -- Vandals broke 39 windows in 22 cars at a Vancouver used car lot early Friday morning. Lori Gill, manager of Austin's Affordable Autos on Northeast Highway 99, said car lot video cameras show vandals, possibly in their teens, using a hammer to smash windows of cars that retail for between $2,000 and $20,000. A hammer was left behind, and Gill said there was "blood on our cars.'' Gill estimated damage at between $8,000 and $10,000. Thirteen windows were rear windows, which she says "are expensive to replace.'' Gill said a $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Vancouver Police are investigating. -- Michelle Trappen: michelletrappen@news.oregonian.com

Vandals Shatter Windows At Car Dealership VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Vandals destroyed windows of 22 cars at a Vancouver car dealership early Friday morning. Workers at Austin's Affordable Autos said they were shocked by the extent of the damage. "I can't believe somebody actually did this to our lot," said Lori Gill, the car lot manager. Surveillance video showed two men, one carrying a large stick, running through the property between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday. Deputies who were investigating the vandalism found blood on a shard of glass at the lot. The blood will be submitted for DNA testing in hopes of matching it to the vandals. The men were described as 19 to 24 years old. The car lot is offering a $100 reward for tips leading to the vandals' arrests Anyone with information is asked to call the Clark County Sheriff's Office
